With addition by LeAnna

Tired of those kinks in the wall from your broom handle? Scratch the beautiful paint work and go erghhh? Well my broom buddy will keep your beautiful walls beautiful.

This pattern is for your personal or charitable use only it may not be sold nor may products made by this pattern be sold without written permission of the creator. And for this pattern I will give you written permission if you ask.

G hook and some scrap ww yarn

Note: Do not join rounds unless otherwise stated

RND1- Starting at top ch 2 6 SC in 2nd ch from hook

RND2- 2 SC in each sc around. (12sc)

RND3-24 SC in each SC around

RND 25- (SC 2sts tog, SC in next 4 SC) around (10 SC)

RND 26- SC in each SC around

RND 27- Repeat Round 26

Rnd 28- (SC in next SC CH 3) Repeat around Fasten off and weave in ends.

Slip over your broom or mop handle and no more scratched walls

Addition if you like

Loop Tie, chain 25, fasten off...slip buddy over broom or mop that has a hole in the handle for hanging on a hook, with your crochet hook, poke through the buddy through the hole to the other side and pull the Loop Tie through and tie or join together and fasten off. This serves two purposes: 1) secures the Buddy to the broom or mop or Swiffer (which is what my Buddy is on right now) and also can now hang off a hook if you want.

Raffia Change purse (photo comming)

Raffia Change Purse by Jimmie Lu Smallwood

This pattern is for your personal use only it may not be sold nor may products made by this pattern be sold without written permission of the creator.

First you will need to separate raffia and tie ends together (you can do this as you go along if you like but I started out tying a few together first.

Hook I

Row 1- Chain 18 SC in second ch and each across

Row 2-9-CH 1 turn SC in each SC across *NOTE after row 9 do not turn

Button hole row
NOTE* you are now working on the short end across un worked SC
Make 3 SC then CH 2(button hole) then 3 more SC Fasten off.

At this point I weaved in the ends and trimmed (you will still have a “straw” look)

SEWING-Fold the short end up without the button hole leaving enough room for a flap. Thread thin piece of raffia in a plastic canvas needle and stitch both sides. Add a button for closure
